ETSA, AGL has been split up to try and stop workers from making lawful compensation claims. ETSA selects workers who drink lots of alcohol after work as this would lessen the likelyhood of compensation claims. They use alcohol to control them. Part of the reason possibly that I was bullied to work on lots of live 275kv equipment was that I wouldn’t associate (drink) with them after work in the social club.

When I worked for ETSA at Torrens Island my brain was permanently fried by being sent to work on live equipment in 275kv switchyards and now I can’t sleep at all.

When I worked for ETSA I was made to use a cleaning fluid called Genclean when we were supposed to use Methylated spirits. I now have a very poor sense of smell. My friends say my house smells and I don’t even know. My medication also makes me smell and I can hardly notice.

When I worked for ETSA not only am I a chronic insomniac due to EMR exposure and cannot work for those reasons I could argue that I suffer paranoid schizophrenia as a result of the dangerous environment that I worked in. It did not seem to bother my fellow workers who thought that it was normal. This frightened me.
